Ok, here we go, a few weeks ago I noticed that my e-mail and STEAM accounts were acting a little wierd so I investigated. Turns out that some Ba***rd was hacking the two accounts, I quickly locked down my e-mail account (my old hondokitsune one) and contacted VALVE support to get my STEAM account locked too. They responded that day and locked my account out.
A few weeks later, I contacted them again and confirmed that my e-mail was now safe and they could reactivate my account, 48 hours later they did, so I downloaded and installed the "New" STEAM client.
First things first, the new client looks really nice, modern, sleek, and very easy to pick up. I have absolutely no complaints.
Second things second, I found out what the hacker(s) did to my account, my profile, friends list and groups were all completely wiped. Fortunately my games are still intact and my pay-pal hasn't had any funny transactions going through it. So, looks like I am in the clear.
